Our Hungarian Wine Tasting experience is based on our love and passion for Hungarikums, the quality and production of Hungarian wine and food. Our experiences are guided by a professional local Sommelier, who will guide you through the fairly unknown world of Hungarian wines. You'll have the opportunity to taste some of the most delicious wines in our country, as we design our wine experience to ensure quality and knowledge is spread on the side of the great taste. You will try a variety of white, red, and rose wines, as well as a dessert wine. Our selection includes Hold & Holló Dry and Sweet, Chardonnay, Souska Rose, St. Andrea Áldás Bikavér, and Pannonhalmi Hemina. On the side of the wines, the wine tasting includes a food selection plate including some Tapas specialties of the Platz restaurant. Our wine-tasting experience is unique in Budapest, and even in Hungary, and it is the only such experience downtown Budapest! This wine experience is set within the historic and beautiful sight of the most important church of the city, St Stephen's Basilica, where the Budapest Christmas Market is. You'll have the possibility to join a quality wine tasting inside one of the most important restaurants in the square, the Platz. This restaurant offers the most spectacular view over the basilica too.
