Description

Join us at a Friday evening concert featuring the gems of centuries of organ music. Come to relax and experience the beauty, passion, and uplifting nature of perfectly written classical music performed by great musicians. Varied solo organ or chamber music concerts are offered in the series depending on the date of your visit. Old Hungarian organ music and pieces composed by Bach, Dubois, Franck, Handel, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Purcell or Vivaldi have all been selected to provide visitors with quality entertainment and lasting experience. The creative director and main organist of the Majestic Sounds series is Miklós Teleki, who is an excellent, award-winning Hungarian musician giving more than 100 organ and piano recitals a year. Baroque Programme 1 Johann Sebastian Bach: Prelude and Fugue in B minor BWV 544 2 J. S. Bach: Trio Sonata in E flat major (Allegro moderato, Adagio, Allegro) BWV 525 3 Antonio Vivaldi – J. S. Bach: Toccata and Fugue in D minor BWV 565 The concerts start with a short introduction of the musicians, you can follow the programme on a printed leaflet and the organist playing can be seen on a screen. The instrument is not a huge cathedral organ but a 25-pipe beauty installed in a church with the fusion of acoustics and aesthetics. Offering live classical music is our passion and mission: take part in it with us.
